Metal Gutta working alongside their partner company Archirest Ltd manufactured a double-seamed roof and wall cladding for this property on the picturesque and idyllic Elba, an island located in the North Tyrrhenian Sea, part of the Tuscany Archipelagos. This island is not only famous for its beautiful and peaceful scenery, but also for its historic significance as this was the island where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled in 1814 before escaping to France 10 months later and starting the “War of the Seventh Coalition”. Additionally, Elba was once renowned for its rich Iron deposits, with the Romans famously visiting to construct their swords, allowing for their many victories and inception of their empire. Despite being an important and famous tourist destination, most of the land is protected and the rules around building are incredibly strict.
