British Craftsmanship Goes Global
with Large-Scale Copper Rain Chain Project

A glimmer of copper brilliance is heading to East Africa as Good Directions completes the shipment of a stunning made-to-order batch of handcrafted copper rain chains for Grumeti Construction Ltd in Tanzania.

Nearly 6,000 individual copper links were manufactured to order at our UK factory, each one shaped by hand using a specially designed jig system developed in-house for consistent precision. The scale of this project demonstrates our team's dedication to quality, efficiency, and innovative production methods, ensuring every link meets the high standards expected for international installations.

These rain chains aren’t just a beautiful feature – they’re a perfect complement to the copper guttering system we previously manufactured and installed for Grumeti Construction. This time, our contribution was focused solely on the rain chains, which will now travel across continents to take their place in one of Tanzania’s premium developments.

From raw copper strip to elegant interlocking links, every part of the process was handled on-site with precision and pride. It’s an incredible example of British craftsmanship supporting international architecture, and we are thrilled to continue this relationship with Grumeti Construction.
